with horses. We have an expert staff which works exclusively
with children to teach them horsemanship knowledge and skills.

Graeagle Stables 2011 Children's Horsemanship Camps
We have 4 camps scheduled this season. The camps are held Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Camps are open to children ages 8-16. The dates for this year are:
Camp I......Level One....June 13-16
Camp II.....Level Two.....June 20-23
Camp III....Level One.....July 11-14
Camp IV.....Level Two.....July 18-21
Along with learning the skills needed for balance and basic control, we also teach about general horse knowledge. It is just as important to know how to take care of the horse as it is to know how to ride it. Our level one camps will go over the basics and our level two camps will go more in-depth.
We are limiting the number of campers in each camp to 8. Camps are filled on a first come first serve basis. Reservations can be made by completing the Release Form and sending it in with Camp Payment.
Fun for the Whole Family
On Thursday July 21, we invite the family and friends of each camper to join us around the campfire at Gold Lake Stables to roast hot dogs, marshmallows, and tell some stories. Everyone is welcome to camp out in wall tents at the stables. In the morning we will make some breakfast. Then, for a discounted price, you are all welcome to join the campers on a 1 1/2 hour trail ride. When we return from the ride we will hold an awards ceremony to acknowledge each campers achievements.
